print("Installation successful!")

You should see output similar to:

RequestX version: 0.1.0
Status: 200
Installation successful!

Troubleshooting

Installation Issues

If you encounter installation issues:

  1. Upgrade pip: pip install --upgrade pip

  2. Clear pip cache: pip cache purge

  3. Use –no-cache-dir: pip install --no-cache-dir requestx

  4. Check Python version: python --version (must be 3.8+)

Import Issues

If you get import errors:

# Check if RequestX is properly installed
import sys
print(sys.path)

try:
    import requestx
    print("RequestX imported successfully")
except ImportError as e:
    print(f"Import error: {e}")

Performance Issues

If RequestX seems slower than expected:

  1. Use sessions for multiple requests

  2. Enable connection pooling

  3. Check your network connection

  4. Use async/await for concurrent requests

import requestx
import time

# Test performance
start = time.time()
response = requestx.get('https://httpbin.org/json')
end = time.time()

print(f"Request took: {end - start:.3f} seconds")
print(f"Status: {response.status_code}")
